Don't compare people's characters

too many artists who don't know this which actually is a quite a few, you shouldn't compare a person character to something else or someone! It's actually very rude to say and is very much annoying to hear. 

I get angry about this myself even if there character isn't mine , because no matter what it looks like or how it seems no one is 100% original and I get that, but comparing it to someone's oc is one of the rudest things to say to someone. 

You may not see it AS mean but it is .
My oc secret for instance, he has a yellow illuminati sign on his jacket and that gets compared to Bill Cipher from gravity falls , like yes I under stand but this is an outline on his jacket nothing more then a design, I'm sorry if it reminds you of him but how about you realize it's an illuminati sign no one can own that shit.

Ive also seen this a lot for anyone who has a mostly white oc 
"they look like sans" like fuck you? How can oc look like a skeleton in shorts and a jacket, I get people have like AU characters of him but let's get this straight he's a SKELETON in basic clothing how is he soooo original? I've seen people with skeleton ocs WAY before sans and now they're getting compared like everyday to this character. Don't get me wrong I like the game , not so much the fans (no offense ) but you guys can't go around saying this to people.

guys I'm not saying this to the few people that HAVE said some of these things about my ocs or others , I'm not singling you out , this is for everyone who has or might do this
